Party sail sets the scene for clients landmark birthday party and future family events.
The current owner of a handsome late Georgian Villa in South West London contacted us to discuss the design of an easy rig Summer Party sail to provide a stylish alfresco dining and entertainment area for family and friends. The sail creates a traditional wedding reception theme, it is connected to an Oak framed orangery allowing party goers to move freely in & out without any chance of getting wet in the event of summer rain. A regular rain and shade production for alfresco365.
The relationship between house, terrace and beautiful garden looked totally symmetrical at the outset but of course once the tape was out reality came to the fore and on paper we realised a more complicated non symmetrical design was required. Discussions ensued with the client and sail fabricators subsequently we came up with the perfect shape for this garden. The “Manta Ray” party sail.
Incorporating varnished lightweight timber masts guyed to existing garden elements, and fixed to the building with Keder track the completed “manta ray” design provided the perfect alfresco ambiance.
The detailed Ivory coloured party sail ,CAD designed to fit the non symmetrical layout was fabricated using the lightweight , water repellant , mildew & UV resistant “ Holiday” Fire Retardant acrylic fabric.
We used this company for an ambitious canopy at our house in London. The owner Jon Clapham is clearly passionate about his creations and oversees each one personally. The result is elegant, effective and beautifully made. The stainless steel fittings are of the highest quality and the whole exercise was a text book in delivering quality and value with no fuss. I can't see how anyone would want to go anywhere else once one has discovered him.GEORGIAN HOME OWNER, SOUTH WEST LONDON
